Fulton Bank Headquarters Expansion
In a project demonstrating responsible redevelopment, Fulton Bank partnered with RETTEW to replace a 4-story commercial building on East King Street with a 60,000-SF, 3-story structure. This $12 million expansion of Fulton's headquarters integrates mixed-use retail and office spaces, and is linked to their existing building via an enclosed pedestrian bridge. RETTEW used high-definition scanning to safeguard adjacent structures during demolition. Committed to sustainability, the design incorporates stormwater management through a green roof and rainwater reuse systems. RETTEW's expertise guided the development of comprehensive site plans and an aesthetically pleasing streetscape design. RETTEW facilitated timely permit approvals by leveraging established relationships with City officials. This project contributes to the ongoing revitalization of downtown Lancaster.
STRATA West
Downtown Allentown's revitalization hinges on modern housing options alongside commercial development. STRATA West, a landmark project championed by RETTEW, delivers exactly that. This two-building, mixed-use structure offers retail, restaurants, and market-rate apartments, plus a pocket park and a green roof. RETTEW's expertise in urban development, encompassing land planning, surveying, and traffic engineering, helped navigate the complexities of the site and secure approvals quickly. STRATA West marks a significant step in transforming Allentown into a vibrant urban center, offering the first newly constructed residential component in the city's ongoing revival.
The Crossings at Conestoga Creek
High Real Estate envisioned a vibrant mixed-use community at a prime Lancaster gateway, but the site's steep slopes, wetlands, floodplains, and historic buildings posed significant challenges. RETTEW collaborated with High to create a master plan for the 89-acre property, incorporating retail, restaurants, housing, and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes alongside miles of nature trails and wildlife viewing areas. Transforming the floodplain into valuable open space and leveraging historic elements, the project required complex floodplain and stormwater approvals. RETTEW's expertise guided the $129 million dollar development through these hurdles, paving the way for a successful mixed-use community.
Sheetz at Brookside
Sheetz at Brookside, located in a booming area, demanded a rapid development plan to coincide with nearby roadwork and business openings. RETTEW tackled this challenge, encompassing everything from conceptual design to construction administration within a tight timeframe. As planners for the entire Brookside project, RETTEW ensured seamless pedestrian access, a convenient drive-thru, and minimized stormwater impact. Our established relationships with local authorities accelerated the approval process by three months, allowing Sheetz to open its doors promptly and serve the community seamlessly alongside the other area improvements.
